We love to run. We love the high after a run and we love where we run.

We are located in the west of Scotland, 25 miles west of Glasgow, nestling between the north shore of the river Clyde and hills that overlook Loch Lomond. We have no shortage of beautiful scenery to help motivate you whilst out running.

HAAC is a friendly and welcoming club aimed at helping to develop and inspire the athlete in every member and providing each member with support in the fulfilment of their own individual goals.

We cater for runners of all abilities from beginners to winners. The club has over 50 members and a wide mix of (over-18) ages and abilities, split roughly 50/50 between male and female.

Our training nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesday nights we focus on road based sessions, normally based around the streets of Helensburgh. Our Thursday sessions are trail runs using the fantastic countryside around us.

We also enjoy regular social events – from group participation in races to dinners out.

Membership is extremely good value with only one annual membership fee – this covers all training sessions and entry fees for local, West District and Nationals cross country races.
